Castle Leslie is a wedding photographer’s dream location. Everything you could possibly want is there, from rich luxurious interiors to sprawling terraced lawns, architectural nooks and crannies, to lakes and woods. You really couldn’t ask for better. Of course, having two people who will give you the time you need to do the work you want to is always a bonus. Linda and James really wanted to spend as much time as possible with their guests, something we understood from meeting with them - something we always do so we can see where people’s priorities lie and design a shooting schedule around what they want. On Linda and James’ wedding day everyone new what was going to happen, and when, give or take a few minutes, so there were no surprises for us with the amount of time we had, and no surprises for them with wedding photographers dithering over what to do next. That’s hugely important for everyone. It makes for far less frustration and stress, and we can all get on with just enjoying the day as it unfolds. The time Linda and James gave to us, they gave 100%, and we got everything we wanted and more. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed on a bit longer than agreed to cover the speeches before the meal, and that has never happened before or since. A really fantastic couple.
