A Castleknock Hotel Wedding is always something we look forward to, and a regular on our yearly schedule as it is such a popular Dublin wedding venue. Mary & Colum were married on one of the hottest June summer days we can remember, with perfect blue skies that brought all their local neighbours and well-wishers out to witness their big day - such a lovely vibe to see so many people congregate in the sunshine. After the ceremony we took them to a couple of their favourite locations along the coastline, cycling is a big part of their lives and they wanted to capture what this part of the city meant to them. The wooden bridge in Clontarf with the two towers in the background is as much an iconic Dublin setting as you’re likely to find. By the time we had done our work there and got to Castleknock Hotel all the guests had been settled in, either relaxing in the garden under the summer sun or close by, chilling out inside at the bar. A truly wonderful day topped off by a fantastic evening of speeches and dances.
