We were wedding photographers in Wicklow at the Glenview Hotel for Kerri and Simon’s big fab day out in 2018, and we couldn’t have asked for a more fun-loving young couple to spend the day with. Kerri is full of life and instantly brightens up any room she walks into, while Simon is a rock God who rolls with whatever is happening. That they could crack each other up laughing with just a look says everything about them. Long may it continue.

For the wedding preparations, Mike went to Simon while Jill went to Kerri, and as always there’s lots more going on with the Bride than with the Groom. Usually there’s more work for Jill at that stage of the day, but when you have someone like Simon and his fantastic collection of guitars it does give us wedding photographers an opportunity for a great photo if you’re willing to take the chance at setting something unusual up. Really, it does pay off.

We’ve been wedding photographers at the Glenview a few times and always look forward to using their gardens, even early in the year before Spring has sprung everything looks well because of how they’re designed. As wedding photographers we don’t need a huge amount of settings to work with, as long as there’s one or two places to set things up we’re happy we can get the images we need. At the Glenview Hotel the gardens give us more than enough options, and because we know them well we can work quickly so that couples aren’t kept away from guests for too long.
