Some of Our Favourite Wedding Venues in Dublin: The Best Castles, Hotels, & Restaurants in Dublin To Have Your Wedding.
Wedding venues in Dublin are as varied as you might expect in a city, there’s everything from Castle venues to all manner of hotels to some wonderful restaurants. Dublin is our home town, so as wedding photographers in Dublin we know it well and always enjoy working in the county - nowhere is more than a short drive away, well, outside of the ridiculous and ever lengthening rush-hours. No matter what number of wedding guests you’re looking to cater to you’ll find a wedding venue in Dublin to suit you. Even though the city centre can be very built up there are plenty of parks that can be used, though you do need to have permission from the OPW to shoot in the ones they manage.
In the city centre the biggest concern is always parking for guests - on street parking is metered and not exactly cheap, while car parks tend to fill up quickly … especially over Christmas. Your wedding photographer should know most of the best locations in Dublin close to your wedding venue, just so you won’t be taken too far for too long. Most of the time we work at Dublin Wedding Venues we walk to wherever is nearest, which is a nice thing to do on a wedding day anyway - brides and grooms always get congratulated.
Most of the following wedding venues in Dublin are ones we’ve photographed weddings at more than once, so we know them pretty well at this stage. Some of them are regulars that we end up going to at least once every year because they’re so popular, others are ones that we would love to go back to time and again.
The Angler’s Rest
Located just a couple of minutes from the hugely photogenic Phoenix Park, The Angler’s Rest rightly has a reputation for great food and a fabulous atmosphere.

Perhaps one of the grandest civil wedding venues in the heart of Dublin to get married in, with its 18th century domed rotunda providing a spectacular backdrop to any occasion.
